Akshata is a 35 year old Dynamo in a beautiful package! She resides in India with a very busy schedule that seems to never cease. She is a qualified Pediatric Dentist (MDS) with a Masters Degree from DY Patil University, a National Speaker in the field of Pediatric Dentistry, an Entrepreneur, a Fashion Model and an International Pageant Queen. Recently she started the "International Glamour Project" to include: Miss Teen India, Miss India and Mrs. India , which provides a platform to celebrate womanhood in her country of India. She does this while being the Mother of her four year old child and the Wife of another distinguished Doctor - Dr. Swaroop Puranik.

She now represents India competing for the crown of Ms. International World and has taken the position of  Director for the Ms. International World India Pageant Organization
